The Iele are a group of river witches which reside in the Olt River and are believed to be non-existent. The leader is Baba Vrăja.

The Iele use a powerful convoca spell to summon Serafina, Neela, Ling, Ava, Becca and Astrid in their dreams while trying to contain Abaddon in a waterfire as it broke through their ochi spell.
Serafina, Neela, Ling, Ava, and Becca along with Astrid met Magdalena, one of the Iele and led them to the Iele and Baba Vrăja.
